The most advanced model of the Dia-Battles V2 series, and the most extreme model of the V2 model. It was developed as an attack machine to spearhead the attacks of deployeded Diaclone Mecha. While maintaining the basic functions of the previous model, each part of the machine was thoroughly modified to the utmost limit, and in the end it succeeded in enhancing the maximum output, drive speed, and strength of the machine far beyond the standard model, making it the strongest Diabattles V2 to date.
However, due to its overly peaky total body drive system, it is even more difficult to control than the DA-01EX Dia-Battles V2 Lunar Base Prototype. In particular, the chief pilot who controls the combat maneuvers in the decisive battle mode must have advanced piloting skills to make the most of the Red Lightning’s potential, which is tuned to the very edge of the red zone. Only a skilled pilot, a “natural Battlestar rider” if you will, will be able to master this raging behemoth.
The name “Red Lightning” comes from the sight of super-hard red crystalline photons sparking and dispersing like lightning when attacking with the enhanced Red Photon Blade, the wing’s cutting attack weapon.
Battles 01
An all-purpose combat machine that can operate in any environment, from outer space to the ocean floor. It is piloted by the chief pilot and serves as the core of Dia-Battles V2. The head unit, a collection of highly functional multi-sensors, is housed in the center of the machine.
Battles 02
A high-speed flight combat machine with excellent maneuverability. Consists of an armed arm unit, an airborne maneuvering booster, and a single-seat bolt-on module that controls it. The armed unit has a number of functional options, which can be selected and replaced depending on the mission.
Battles 03
A high-powered machine for land attacks. It can also maneuver in the air for short distances. Consists of a variable leg maneuvering unit and a double-seated bolted modular machine that controls it. Equipped with an armed motorcycle for ground attack support in the rear hangar. The leg maneuvering unit has a number of functional options, which can be selected and replaced depending on the mission.
Bullet Fighter
An attack support fighter that is a docked version of the Battles 02 and 03 Boretto Module machines.
Road Viper
A newly designed offensive armed motorcycle. Equipped with two FZ armor-piercing machine guns that can destroy worm pod-level armor with a single blow.
Diaclone Member (Visor Type) Diaclone Member (Visor Type)
The Diatektor worn by the Diaclone crew is an all-environment combat armor with excellent mobility and defense, equipped with a power assist function.
By closing the visor and switching to sealed mode, it becomes a completely independent, all-purpose airtight suit that can operate in any environment, from outer space to the deep sea!
Power Knuckle
An impact-resistant manipulator equipped with a high-voltage discharge crushing function. The reversible Gatling Knuckle is loaded with D-MAX ammunition and has an additional armament connector.
Optional Armament
Hammer Magnum
Battleship 01: A superconducting railgun that attaches to the arm launcher. Fires Hammerhead armor-piercing shells that can penetrate the bow and stern of a large aircraft carrier in an instant. The shells are loaded into the main body, and the maximum number of rounds can be 12.
Slug Cannon
Battles 01: A long-range Freezon beam cannon that attaches to the arm launcher. It has about 1/3 the destructive power of the Robot Base class large Freezon beam cannon. Cannot be fired continuously due to the time required for reload charge.
Crush Calibur
A weapon that was converted from an optical particle rock cutter for space development into a fighting weapon. The edge generates a light blade made of diacrom photon crystals. Handling it requires a high level of fighting skill, so it must be licensed. Can be mounted on the Battles 02.
Three-machine combined mode
The cockpits of 02 and 03 separate after the docking maneuver of the arm and leg maneuver units to form small fighters for battle support. Due to the Freeson Generator Resonant Activation Theory, the total power of attack and maneuver is more than three times that of the pre-combination state.
