One of the specialized variations of the Dia-Battles V2, the main battle machine of the Diaclone Corps. Although the general-purpose Battles V2 is also capable of maneuvering in space, this model is an inter-space combat model developed for the purpose of more effectively executing intergalactic battles over ultra-long distances.
The basic system configuration is the same as that of the general-purpose Battles V2, but the machine unit <Battles 02> that controls the propulsion and attitude control functions in each combined mode, including the decisive battle mode, has been replaced with the newly developed machine unit <Cosmo Battles 02> to dramatically improve its output, cruising range, and mobility.
In addition, the adoption of the L Launcher (which can carry a total of four arm units), which allows the suspension of spare arm units, which was difficult due to weight limitations within the gravity sphere, has strengthened its overall offensive capabilities, and the combination of units with different offensive functions allows the development of multi-stage combat operations such as [long-range bombardment battle], [medium-range beam battle], and [close-range combat battle] on an individual basis.
After test operations as an interceptor for the Attack Team: Silver Star belonging to the Giant Space Station CX-1, which is in charge of the primary defense network of the Earth region, it has been deployed to combat satellite bases in the intermediate space of each planet.
Battles 01
An all-purpose combat machine that is the core of the Dia Battles V2. The dedicated space maneuver machine operated by the Silver Star team of Station CX-1 and others has a head unit that has been replaced with sensors for inter-space combat.
Battles 02
An inter-space combat machine consisting of an armed arm unit, a maneuvering booster, and a double-seated Bullet module machine that controls the arm unit. The maneuver booster is a detachable “Cosmo Leap Booster” equipped with a Freezon drive engine that has been successfully miniaturized. It can navigate in space at super speed without relying on specialised transport. A total of four arm units can be mounted on the L Launcher.
Battles 03
This high-powered machine is composed of a variable mobility unit in the legs and a double-seated Bullet module machine that controls it. The thrusters on each part of the machine have been adjusted for space mobility. An expansion connector for the Battles 02 Bullet Module can be stored in the rear hangar.
Bullet Fighter
An attack support fighter docked with the Cosmo Battles 02 and 03 Bullet modules, the 02 Bullet can be equipped with boosters and arm units via expansion connectors. One Raid Chamber can also be connected.
Road Viper
An armed attack motorcycle powered by a Freeson engine, equipped with four pulse blasters for on-road and off-road driving.
Dianauts
The members of the Diaclone Corps are the elite chosen from among the citizens of all the zones to protect the Earth from the clutches of invading aliens.
In addition to high physical ability and strong mental strength, the members of the team must have fiery courage, passion, and a kind heart that loves peace. Their invincible teamwork, united by solid friendship, is their greatest and strongest weapon.
Linked with Powered System
It is also equipped with a linkage function with the Diaclone Powered Suit unit, which is indispensable for inter-space combat operations. As with the general-purpose Battles V2, Raid Chambers can be carried in each machine state. Connect the “Powered Suit: Combined Mode” to the bolted connector of the Cosmo Battles 02, and set a powerful arm unit on the L-launcher to complete an invincible powered machine.
Armaments
Hammer Magnum
A superconducting railgun attached to an arm launcher. It fires a Hammerhead armor-piercing shell that can penetrate the bow and stern of a large aircraft carrier in an instant. The shells are loaded into the main body, and the maximum number of rounds can be 12.
Slug Cannon
A long-range Freezon beam cannon that attaches to the arm launcher. It has about 1/3 the destructive power of the Robot Base class large freezone beam cannon. Cannot be fired continuously due to the time required for reload charge.
Crash Calibur
A weapon that was converted from an optical particle rock cutter for space development into a fighting weapon. The edge generates a light blade made of Diaclone photon crystals. Handling it requires a high level of fighting skill, so it must be licensed. Can be mounted on the Battles 02.
