The Waruda Raider “Bughead” is a Waruda fighting machine with a cockpit called the Bugpod as its core, with “cutter” arms, arthropod legs, wing modules, and other units that combine to form a mecha similar to a giant insect. As with the Waruda suit, there are two types of Waruda Raiders, one with anode and the other with cathode. The dark cathode type has a black iron exterior, and like the cathode-type Waruda suit, its function is to control energy, resulting in a super-amplification of the unit’s total power when combined.
The ultra-high temperature blast beam from the jaws of the Bugpod is fired while the wing units are deployed to collect energy, creating a huge mobile turret-like attack. “The bipedal unmanned combat drone that is deployed at the same time as the Bughead appears is called the “Berserk. It also protects the main body from attacks in the blind spots created by the “bug heads” while firing blast beams.
The Waruda suit, the Dark Stang, is a Stang-type mobile infantry machine with “red eyes” that attacks with needle-like bit tails.
When the Dark Cathode Type is alone, it wraps its tail unit around the target and unleashes an energy-absorbing attack, as well as replenishing energy to the machine when its output is low. When it is combined with the Anode Type, it functions to efficiently control energy between the combined machines, resulting in a super-amplified total power effect.

Enhanced form combined with the Waruda suit
The most fearsome function of the Waruda Raider is the amplification and strengthening mode by combining with the Waruda suit, named “Evolize”. The power of the Evolized Waruda suit is amplified several times more than the normal suit, and the difficulty of completely defeating it increases dramatically. There are countless patterns of bonding forms that have been confirmed, from bonding with a single pot or suit to bonding in a multiprize infinite state, and the individual identification code names vary by region and unit and are not consistent. The following two forms are relatively common code names.
The onslaught of Waruda’s destructive mobile weapons continues!
The Diaclone Corps must use their new weapons to crush the Waruda army!
Fight! Fight! Our Diaclone!
Waruda Raider Machine Series
Separate and Combined Mobile Machine Waruda Raider
The Waruda Raider (or simply Waridaraider) is the identification code name for a new class of combat machine that was not confirmed during the First Earth-Waruda War.
Since the attack of the Waruda Mobile Infantry Machine (a.k.a. Waruda Suit), the existence of the Waruda Raider has been gradually confirmed, made difficult since its form at the time of report is inconsistent and differs remarkably from case to case. It has a silhouette reminiscent of reptiles, insects, crustaceans, etc. It is also used as a general term for unit separation and coupling type mobile machines.
The Waruda Raider, like the Waruda Suit, is composed of a core module “pod” that holds the pilot and a maneuvering unit called the Larva, but the structure of the machine is very different from that of the Waruda Suit. Each unit, such as the ring-shaped small Larva, block module, and armament, can be quickly separated and recombined, and while generating some kind of energy field with luminous discharge similar to the generation of an optical field, it moves freely in space and joins with the target part similar to a magnet attracting iron. It has a very high fighting potential on its own, and even if the unit that makes up the machine is severely damaged, the aforementioned separation and bonding system allows it to instantly reassemble the unit and repeatedly attack without stopping.
