The “Warude Suit” is a type of mobile infantry machine first seen during the Waruda Corps’ raid on the Freezon Mining Plant in Karpus Zone, Sumatra.

The Suits depart from their Waruda mother ship in wedge-shaped flying formations, and with its flexible attack maneuvers (that differ completely from those of the previous Waruda Suit), exhibit the overwhelming combat potential to toy with and destroy the Diaclone PS Mobile Defense Force, which are key to our planet’s defence, and even drove it to the point of annihilation.

Several different types of this new Waruda Suit have been confirmed, and each has been given an individual code name based on its attack maneuvers and other characteristics. There is the “Flinger”, named for its four-pronged, capture-focused bit-tail. And also a Suit that attacks with a photon blade-like needle bit-tail called “Stang” similar to a photon blade. Additionally there are Dark Cathode variants of both; “Dark Fliger” and “Dark Stang”.

The Waruda Suit consists of a core module called the “Worm Pod” that holds the pilot, and the “Larva”, a transformable mobile unit that fuses with the Worm Pod and transforms into four limbs. The Worm Pod has powerful combat functions on its own, and can unleash directional energy attacks radiating from its canopy-like crystal, as well as restraint attacks using its strong flexible tail unit that can be separated and remote controlled by the pilot.

In addition to the “Hammerhead” type, there are other Larva units of various sizes.

Warudaroids

Post-mortem examinations of crew members recovered from the destroyed Waruda Suits revealed that they were hybrid cyborg creatures – combat androids with bio-mechanical bodies parasitized by an unknown space creature thought to be a form of marine organism, and assigned the code name of “Warudaroid”. Equipped with a power core thought to be a Freezon Generator in the chest, their combat abilities are equal to those of Diaclone soldiers equipped with Diatectors.

has been confirmed that there are at least two types of Warudaroids: an intelligence/plunder/strategy type with five fingers modeled after human hands, presumably intended for operating Earth consoles, and a combat-specialized type with sharp, scissor-like hands thought to be remnants of a parasitic space creature (although these are not believed to be the only expression of Waruda life).

Evolize

The Waruda suit attacks by changing into various forms. Some believe that the attack forms, which are reminiscent of the evolutionary system of life on Earth, such as annelids, insects, reptiles, and humans, are a strategy of the Waruda aliens to incite the latent fear of humanity.

The following are the names of the forms used by the Diaclone for convenience in their operations.

The “Hunter Form” is a form specialized for capturing multiple humans…. and even power suits.

Multiprize

The greatest threat posed by the Waruda suit is its ability to multiply and fuse with multiple units, called Multiprize (sometimes “Multiprise”, “Multi-Prize”). The unlimited combination system, reminiscent of the proliferation of bacteria, is theoretically capable of infinite multiplication, proliferation and fusion.

Because of the alien nature of this behavior transcends the biological concepts of humanity, it is extremely difficult to rationalise and anticipate the attack patterns, so full support from the Diaclone combat operating system B.I.G.-A.I. is essential when tackling the Multiprise complex.

Overdose

This state of “super-collectivity” is a feature of the Waruda Suits Multiprise ability where multiple units can combine with their energy levels increasing by an order of magnitude with each unit making them almost impossible to defeat.

Depending on the number of combined units, the maximum output and destructive power of optical weapons increases exponentially with the only viable tactic being to destroy the units individually or in smaller combinations before they reach the critical overdose stage.

Recognizing that these new Waruda suits were a strategic weapon intended for use against the Diaclone Corps and their power suits due to its various functions, the Diaclone’s General Headquarters began constructing an attack system dedicated to destroying the Waruda suit.

With the introduction of the PS Maneuver Type and other new mechanics, the mission to destroy the Waruda Suit is now underway – although it has been theorised that both sides are now simply locked in an ‘arms race’ until such time as a final, decisive victory can be achieved.
