Waruda Suit “Dark Stang”

The Waruda Suit (Dark Cathode Type) is a mobile infantry machine with a color-reversed exterior that is the same type of machine as the Flinger and Stang. They are referred to as “Dark Flinger” and “Dark Stang” respectively.

The Diaclone Science Research Team disassembled and analyzed the captured machine, and found that machines of the same type with negative/positive exterior colors have a paired relationship with the attributes of a cathode and an anode. When the two Yin-Yang machines work together, they can activate troublesome functions such as freely changing perfectly synchronized attacks and the creation of optical barriers with strong defensive power.

DA-26-23-24 Comparison

When used alone, the Dark Cathode Type can wrap its tail unit around the target and launch energy absorption attacks, or supply energy to a unit with reduced output. When multiple units are combined, it has the ability to efficiently control energy between the combined units, resulting in a super-amplification of their overall power.

The Waruda Suit is also a machine that runs on Freezon energy, and like the Diaclone mecha, it has a power amplification effect due to the Freezon Generator resonance activation theory. The maximum output and destructive power of the optical weapon rapidly increase depending on the number of bonds. When it goes into a super-agglomeration state (commonly known as “overdose”) that exceeds the critical value for suppression, its terrifying power may be insufficient even for the fighting power of an average Diaclone company. In combat maneuvers against Multiply ∞, it must be crushed and defeated at the small-scale bonding stage before it reaches the “Infinity” power activation phase.
