This type of Waruda Suit is code-named “Flinger” as the machine uses a four-pronged capture-specialized bit tail.

The mobile infantry machine, commonly referred to as the “Waruda Suit”, was first seen during the Waruda Corps’ raid on the Freezon Mining Plant in Karpus Zone, Sumatra. It takes off from the mother ship in a wedge-shaped flying formation, and with its versatile attack maneuvers, completely different from those of the previous Waruda Suits, has overwhelming combat potential that can toy with the Diaclone PS mobile defense forces, the key to the plant’s defense, and drive them to annihilation.

Several different types of new Waruda Suits have been confirmed, and each has been given an individual recognition code name based on its characteristics such as attack maneuvers. The machine that uses a four-pronged capture-specialized bit tail is referred to as “Flinger”, and the machine that attacks with a needle bit tail similar to a photon blade is known as “Stang”.

There are also Dark Cathode variants, wittily titled “Dark Flinger” and “Dark Stang”.

Warudaroids

Equipped with a power core thought to be a Freezon Generator in the chest, their combat abilities are equal to those of Diaclone soldiers equipped with Diatectors.

It has been confirmed that there are at least two types of Warudaroids:  an intelligence/plunder strategy type with five fingers modeled after human hands, presumably intended for operating Earth consoles, and a combat-specialized type with sharp, scissor-like hands thought to be remnants of a parasitic space creature (although these are not believed to be the only expression of Waruda life).

Waruda Suit : Many Forms of Terror

The Waruda suit attacks by changing into various forms. Some believe that the attack forms, which are reminiscent of the evolutionary system of life on Earth, such as annelids, insects, reptiles, and humans, are a strategy of the Waruda to incite the fear that lies latent within humanity.

Below are the names of each form that are conveniently referred to when the Diaclone Corps is carrying out operations.

Multiply Infinity : Multiprize

The biggest feature of the new Waruda Suit is its ability to multiply and fuse with multiple units, called (Multiply Infinity). The unlimited combination system, reminiscent of the proliferation of bacteria, is theoretically capable of infinite proliferation and fusion.

 Because of the alien nature of this behavior transcends the biological concepts of humanity, it is extremely difficult to rationalise and anticipate the attack patterns, so full support from the Diaclone combat operating system B.I.G.-A.I. is essential when tackling the Multiprise infinity complex.

Overdose

This state of “super-collectivity” is a feature of the Waruda Suits Multiprize ability where multiple units can combine with their energy levels increasing by an order of magnitude with each unit making them almost impossible to defeat.

Depending on the number of combined units, the maximum output and destructive power of optical weapons increases exponentially with the only viable tactic being to destroy the units individually or in smaller combinations before they reach the critical overdose stage.

Anode / Cathode

The Waruda Suit (Dark Cathode Type) is a mobile infantry machine with a color-inverted exterior that is the same type as the “Flinger” and “Stang”. They are called “Dark Flinger” and “Dark Stang” respectively. The Diaclone Science Research Team disassembled and analyzed the captured machine, and found that machines of the same type with negative/positive exterior colors have a paired relationship with the attributes of a cathode and an anode. When the two Yin-Yang machines work together, they can activate troublesome functions such as freely changing perfectly synchronized attacks and the creation of optical barriers with strong defensive power.

When used alone, the Dark Cathode Type can wrap its tail unit around the target and launch energy absorption attacks, or supply energy to a unit with reduced output. When multiple units are combined, it has the ability to efficiently control energy between the combined units, resulting in a super-amplification of their overall power.
